The game should be the puzzle.
The menus, controls and little interactions should feel natural, leaving you free to concentrate on playing.
Tiny independent game studio · Ramat Gan, Israel
I’m Joel Trubek. I make original games and take on selected commissions—with a particular eye for how things feel in the player’s hands.

A point of view, in every detail.
The thinking behind the play
The work behind that simplicity matters.
The menus, controls and little interactions should feel natural, leaving you free to concentrate on playing.
Clear choices, gentle offers and fair play. Spending money should never buy a competitive advantage.
Silly, serious, familiar or a little strange. I care about what an idea can become, wherever it finds its audience.

One person. A particular point of view.
The person behind the studio
I like things that feel simple because someone cared enough to work through the difficult parts.
A game can be as familiar as a slice of pizza and still be something you come back for. That’s the kind of care I want to put into Own Weather: the obvious decisions, the tiny details, and the things you only notice when they go wrong.
My taste runs from gloriously ridiculous entertainment to thoughtful documentaries. I’m interested in stories, systems and the way people interact with both.
This is a solo studio today, with room to grow. AI agents are a big part of the workshop. I set the direction, make the creative calls and take responsibility for what I release.

In development
Original games are taking shape here. I’ll share them when there’s something good to put in your hands.
A prototype to explore, a mechanic to get right, or an interactive idea that needs someone to see the whole picture.
